Frequently Asked Questions


What are your hours of operation? 
We can schedule appointments no earlier than 5:00 AM and no later than 9:00 PM, unless your pet is boarding overnight.

Can you administer medication and/or assist with post surgical needs? 
Yes. We can administer pills, drops, injections and liquid medication, as well as assist with any post-surgery needs your pet may have.

If my pets boards overnight at your home where will they sleep? 
Pets are not crated over night unless requested by the customer. Because we are a home away from home for your pets, we create sleeping arrangements similar to your pet’s home environment.

How will you ensure the safety of my pet when around other animals? Pets are carefully screened before entering the DogGone Walking family. In addition, we maintain behavioral control through positive reinforcement for appropriate behaviors.

How will I be billed for services and when is payment due? 
Payment is not required in advance. An invoice will be provided at the end of service (i.e., for vacations, over nights, etc.) or bi-monthly for ongoing services (i.e., daily visits, etc.).

What if I need to cancel previously scheduled appointments or services?
We ask that customers give notice of cancelations at least 24 hours in advance.

Can you accomodate dogs of all breeds and sizes?
Yes. Big and small we love them all!

I have a small dog, will he/she be safe? 
Many small dogs enjoy running with the big dogs but just in case we have a special areas for the little ones to run around and play with his or her smaller friends. It is up to your dog if he or she wants to play with the big or small dogs.

If I am away can I call in or email to check up on my loved one?
For your peace of mind, you can call us day or night to check in on your beloved pets.

Do you feed my pet during day care?
Yes. We feed breakfast, lunch and dinner according to each pet’s feeding schedule.
